1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using YJP ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. No Affiliation with Yahoo Japan

YJP is an independent, unofficial app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Yahoo Japan Corporation, Yahoo Auctions, or any of their subsidiaries. All auction data displayed in the app is sourced from publicly accessible web pages on auctions.yahoo.co.jp.

3. Read-Only Access

The app provides read-only access to Yahoo Japan Auctions listings. It does not log in to Yahoo on your behalf, does not place bids, and does not interact with Yahoo's systems in any way beyond fetching publicly visible web pages.

4. No Warranty on Listing Data

Auction listings, prices, availability, seller information, and item descriptions are retrieved from Yahoo Japan's website and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. The developer makes no guarantees regarding:

• The accuracy or completeness of any listing information
• The availability of any item at the time you view it
• The reliability of price tracking or alert notifications
• Whether a notification fires before an auction ends

Use the app for informational purposes only. Always verify current listing details directly on Yahoo Japan Auctions before making any purchasing decision.

5. Proxy Bidding Services

The app provides links to third-party proxy bidding services (such as Buyee, Zenmarket, and FromJapan) as a convenience. These services are entirely independent of the developer. Any transaction, purchase, payment dispute, or other matter arising from your use of a proxy service is solely between you and that service. The developer bears no liability for:

• Failed or delayed bids
• Item condition or authenticity
• Shipping, customs, or import duties
• Refund or dispute outcomes

6. Notifications and Alerts

The app can send local push notifications for watchlist activity (new bids, ending soon, price thresholds). Notification delivery is subject to iOS system conditions, device settings, and network availability. The developer is not liable for missed notifications, late notifications, or any consequences arising from a notification failing to fire.

7. No Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed auction opportunities, incorrect prices, failed notifications, or data loss.

8. Intellectual Property

All auction content (titles, images, descriptions, prices) displayed in the app is owned by Yahoo Japan and/or the respective sellers. The app's own code, design, and assets are owned by the developer. You may not reproduce or redistribute the app or its code without permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

If these Terms change materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
